The 35th Annual Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K Road Race is USATF sanctioned and a certified course, will be held October 27th, 2013. Gun goes off at 9:35 a.m. at the park just East of the National Guard Armory on Route 64 in Sycamore. The race is timed via ChronoTrack B-tag timing.

Preregistered runners will receive a neon green, long sleeve race shirt (first 1,800 runners) and refreshments following the race (Oktoberfest Beer for those over 21). Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers, each of the first three finishers in thirteen age divisions, and the first Sycamore male and female finishers.

The Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K Road race is heading into its 35th year! The 10K is held during Sycamore Illinois' world famous Pumpkin Festival. This race has become a staple in both the festival schedule and the Northern Illinois race schedule.

In 2012 there were over 1,700 runners in this competitive race. Runners came from all across Northern Illinois to participate in the Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K Road Race.
